Alas, the list fails to mention which gaming platform she has, and it's available for three different systems. So far I've added a giant (4.5-foot wingspan) butterfly kite to her loot, in hopes of encouraging her to spend some time outside! Their heads bobble too, some of them anyway. Instead of a DVD, what about a computer game? There is a pet-vet type of game, and another where they get to run a kennel. Pet vet 3D is one that my daughter wants. I couldn't do without a tree. I do the fake ones though, I'm too darn lazy to water a tree. A rather anthropomorphic show, but still a fun way to get a child interested in animals. Not that Big Cat Diaries isn’t great – they are sooo cute, er, I mean majestic and beautiful – it’s just that Meerkat Manor is addictive. Like Izzes are addictive… or peppermint patties… or anything else that seems like it should be bad for you but isn’t really… in moderation.
